MEET 2023 TEEN ELEMENTAL TITLEHOLDERS

Darianny lives by the quote “be the change you want to see in the world” and through this she has found the courage to use her voice to make an impact. While working on her Think Local Act Global Project, she found a 3 week-old abandoned kitten, who she rescued and is now part of her family. She has a passion for volunteerism and enjoys working on her mind, body, and spirit by training and living a fit and healthy lifestyle. Through her state reign, she has been able to work with several school districts to educate students on environmental responsibility. In addition, she was invited to give a motivational speech at her high school to empower and inspire the students in her school district. Darianny’s platform is sexual assault prevention, with the mission to lead several initiatives to educate youth across her state on sexual assault prevention and awareness. Through her life experiences, Darianny has come to realize that there are no circumstances or obstacles big enough to stop you on your path to success. Darianny is currently a licensed cosmetologist and college sophomore studying political science. She will attend Rutgers University this Fall to complete a double major in Political Science and English Studies with a Spanish minor. She is an aspiring federal criminal defense attorney and plans to be a first-generation American to be the Speaker in the House of Representatives in the U.S Congress. She was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder as a child and now advocates for mental health and suicide prevention, helping break the stigma towards mental health across our nation. Darianny is a beautiful representation that no matter where you come from, what you go through, or what you look like, you can achieve absolutely anything you set your mind to.

In her second year competing for Teen Miss Earth USA, Isabella has been awarded a national elemental title. She is a model and aspiring actress pursuing a degree in Entertainment and Media Studies at the University of Georgia. Her dream is to have a lead role in a television series and to be a published author. She is currently writing a fantasy novel that she has been planning since middle school. As a severe asthmatic, Isabella has concentrated on the platform "Earth’s Lungs," which she intends to file as an official non-profit organization to combat the dangers of air pollution. In her free time, Isabella loves streaming video games on Twitch and creating social media content in order to practice her videography and editing skills. She uses her knowledge in social media content creation and algorithms to grow both her platform and titleholder social media pages in order to bring more awareness to the causes she believes in. Isabella is proud to have earned a full-tuition academic scholarship and early acceptance to the University of Georgia. She is on her sorority’s sustainability committee and has had numerous philanthropic opportunities involving Extra Special People, Miracle, and Women’s Heart Health. She has enjoyed working with her University’s Office of Sustainability and with local volunteer groups Sweet Olive Farm animal rescue and Speak out for Species. Something that may surprise you about Isabella is that she recently started her own business, a pageant coaching brand called Isabella’s Beauties. Her life motto is “shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

Dancing since the age of three, Nicole is classically trained in seven different styles and enjoys teaching dance to adults with disabilities each summer. She most recently began modeling and had the opportunity to walk in New York Fashion Week, model for Macy's, and has been published in multiple magazines. She works as a Personal Development Coach at Barbizon Modeling and Acting School, where she inspires youth to develop into the best versions of themselves. Something that might surprise you about Nicole is that she is a first-generation Iranian-American. She has been recognized for community service as a recipient of the Woodbridge Youth Volunteer Appreciation Award and the Citizen Scholar Award from the University of Vermont. Her favorite volunteer effort as a state titleholder was hosting a food distribution event, which benefited over 400 neighbors in need. As President of her local food bank’s Teen Leadership Council, she helped to fundraise over $15,000 and hosted educational seminars for teens on food insecurity. Nicole is proud to have graduated high school in the Top 10% of her class, named an Advanced Placement Scholar and a Global Scholar. She is currently a freshman at George Washington University, studying International Politics in the prestigious Women’s Leadership Program with hopes of becoming a legal journalist. Nicole would like to elevate her platform, The One Planet Project, which breaks down often-complicated US environmental policies into concise explanations and provides opportunities for teens to directly benefit the planet and consequently its people.

During Linda's second year competing for Teen Miss Earth USA, she is proud to have been awarded an elemental national title. She is currently the founder of Crystal Shot NY, a business where she provides for her community’s photography and digital design needs. Continuing her education as a freshman at Queens College, Linda is pursuing a career in Graphic Design. She enjoys bike riding, skateboarding and taking nature walks. She is planning to travel the world as a photographer to capture different cultures and environments in order to educate others on how environmentalism is prioritized in other countries. One of Linda’s biggest accomplishments was creating a garden clean up and seed distribution event at her local community garden, where she distributed over 155 vegetable seed packets to families. The goal of this event was to teach sustainability, composting, garden maintenance and nutritional eating. A fun fact about Linda is she is self-taught in playing the ukulele and building gaming computers. As team leader for the local environmental club, the C.I.S.T.A. Girls, Linda has hosted workshops, beach clean ups and participated in various panel discussions. She is also part of New York's Daffodil Project, where volunteers plant daffodil bulbs throughout their neighborhoods as a living memorial to 9/11 victims. It's an opportunity to beautify the greens spaces in her community with New York City's official flower. Something that may surprise you about Linda is that she became a Wilton-Certified cake decorator at age 11 and co-owns a home baking business with her dad!
