December 12, 2022. Washington, D.C. – A new USA representative for Miss Earth will be crowned on Saturday, January 7 at the Linda Chapin Theater located in the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida. Nearly 120 state delegates will attend pageant activities hosted by the Rosen Centre Hotel.
Known as Beauties for a Cause®, Miss Earth® empowers women through community leadership, eco-tourism, and environmental education. Based in the Philippines, Miss Earth is known as the planet’s most relevant beauty event, drawing nearly 100 national representatives each year to compete at international festivities. Recently, the United States won the 2020 Miss Earth title and has placed in the top four on six occasions since 2014.
The Miss Earth USA® final coronation will broadcast live on the VIP Pageantry channel available on mobile devices worldwide, Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. Additional events during the week include a charity gala, preliminary competitions, and the pageant finals of Teen Miss Earth USA and Junior Ambassadors.
The Still She Rose charity gala takes place on January 5. Women's grant finalists will be honored and plans will be unveiled in memory of Cheslie Kryst. The initiative is supported through the B4ACUSA Foundation 501(C)3 nonprofit charity.

Outgoing Miss Earth USA Brielle Simmons recently competed against 90 delegates of various nations during Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines. She earned several awards including Best Environmental Attire and Bronze in Long Gown. Simmons was named to the national title representing Connecticut, after once placing as first runner up in the Teen Miss Earth USA pageant.
In addition to the coveted title of Miss Earth, the organization will host competitions for Teen Miss Earth USA for ages 13-19 and Junior Ambassadors for ages 5-14. As Beauties for a Cause, each state delegate conducts an environmental project in their community before attending the national activities in Orlando. On January 3, delegates will take part in a community clean up in partnership with Garbo Grabber, The Clean Earth Project and Keep Orlando Beautiful.
The winner of Miss Earth USA receives a prize package valued at over $100,000 including an in-home spa installation by HOTWORX, custom jewelry by Crown Jewel Designs, modeling at New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week, public relations and media specialization by Vyral Media, custom gown and other attire, culminating with an overseas tour in Southeast Asia of up to six weeks to represent the United States at Miss Earth 2023.
The official Miss Earth USA judging panel has been announced, representing a diverse group of experts in the pageant, fashion and entertainment industries. Judges include Miss Earth USA 2017 Andreia Gibau, Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey, Former NFL Cheerleading Director Donald Wells, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Saje Nicole, and Fashion Designer Kataluna Enriquez.
Show entertainment at the spacious Orlando theater includes Vixen Talent Productions dancers, Faith Maria vocal performance and hosted by Brittany Ann Payne for the 7th consecutive edition. Red carpet photography begins at 6:45 PM on show day.
