Virginia Beach, April 20, 2023 – Danielle Mullins of Kentucky was crowned Miss Earth USA in January. She will dedicate the year to serving environmental issues around the country before competing overseas at the annual Miss Earth competition in Vietnam.
Each year, the world recognizes Earth Month in April to serve the planet and create ways to improve environmental issues. Key dates during this month are April 22 Earth Day and April 28 Arbor Day.
Miss Earth USA has officially hit the road for the Earth Month tour, with her first stop in Nashville, Tennessee.

During her three days in Nashville, Danielle visited the Ryan Seacrest Studios at Vanderbilt Hospital, volunteered at the Heart in Hand Critters Hollow Ranch & Rescue, and read books to school children at Barkers Mill Elementary.

Next stop will be Charlotte, North Carolina, where Danielle will appear in two Earth Day theme fashion shows coordinated by Charlotte Seen and Charlotte Fashion Week, promoting sustainable eco fashion. She will have a short trip to volunteer with the Wands for Wildlife national office in Asheville, before moving onto Miami, Washington DC, Seattle and San Francisco through May 2.
One event coming up for Mullins is the Earth Day Climate Leadership Gala on Capitol Hill, as well as an appearance at the Global Beauty Awards in Seattle, where she is an awards presenter.

Meet the Titleholders
The Miss Earth USA organization includes five competition divisions for ages 5 and older. With state pageant preliminaries taking place in Summer 2023, the next national pageant will be held in January 2024. Miss Earth USA has consistently been ranked to the top of pageantry in the United States and Miss Earth is known as a Top 3 worldwide pageant, based in the Philippines. The program emphasizes their motto Beauties for a Cause, impacting environmental issues around the country while also integrating a mental health and wellness initiative for all women and girls.
