85 national delegates take stage at MISS EARTH in vietnam

Kentucky Resident Danielle Mullins Will Represent the United States at the 23rd Annual Miss Earth Competition

Washington, D.C. , December 19, 2023 - Danielle Mullins, Miss Earth USA 2023 of Louisville, Kentucky, wraps up a month-long visit to Asia to represent the United States at the 23rd Annual Miss Earth Pageant managed by Carousel Productions of the Philippines. The Grand Finals and Coronation will take place on December 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

MISS EARTH® focuses on empowering women, promoting eco-tourism and aiding environmental causes around the globe. Each year, delegates from around the globe known as BEAUTIES FOR A CAUSE® represent their unique nations during the highly anticipated competition.

During this year's edition of Miss Earth, Mullins has impressed fans and judges through various events including evening gown, swimwear, national costume and talent. Eco activities have included ecological factory tours, public speaking, school visits and tree planting.

After the United States claimed the Miss Earth title in 2020 and was selected 1st runner up in 2019 and 2021, Mullins aims to carry on the legacy of American pride at the international competition.

Should the United States capture the crown on December 22, 2023, Mullins will dedicate the next year to promoting environmental projects around the globe. The winner of Miss Earth 2023 becomes the spokeswoman for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) and works in partnership with organizations like the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF).

The United States representative has been supported by a variety of generous partners, specifically jewelry by Go Bling Yourself and Donald Latham, gown by Minh Tuan Couture, swimwear by Pixton Design Group, footwear by Marc DeFang, costume by Francis Deney Lee, daywear by Pinkapple Dresses and LuLaRoe, styling by Brodeur Beauty, photography by Eva Flis and Donald Latham and talent coaching by Jani Szukk ballroom dance.

26-year-old Mullins is a Cum Laude Graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Public Relations, living her dream of being a female entrepreneur in the Beauty Industry. She founded The Wand Project, currently partnering with multiple organizations internationally to help animals negatively impacted by environmental disasters. Mullins has appeared in New York Fashion Week, Kentucky Derby, Miami Swim Week and Chicago's St Patrick's Day Parade, in addition to serving as spokesperson for We Clean Trails, the Still She Rose mental health initiative, and other conservation efforts. As Miss Earth USA she received prizes, travel and endorsements valued at over $200,000.
