According to NewsBreak, readers will be surprised to learn that "Many pageants are considered to be somewhat outdated. While women still compete, pageants have become stigmatized and misaligned by prioritizing looks over purpose… Until Miss Earth came along."
"The Miss Earth pageant focuses on individual efforts to better the planet. The girls competing have a solid edge on climate change, environmental health, and community involvement. Contestants are required to be involved in organizations that have a positive global impact, which completely changes the trajectory of the pageant since the girls are directly addressing climate needs and environmental concerns."

Reigning Miss Earth USA spends one week in the Philippines for training before arriving to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on November 28. Danielle Mullins says, “I think back on my life, everything I’ve been through, rebuilding my self-confidence, deciding to go after a dream that feels so far outlandish, being completely disciplined, and making those sacrifices, to now see myself here is truly unbelievable. Pinch me! I believe everything happens for a reason, and everything in my life has brought me here.”
Known as Beauties for a Cause®, Miss Earth® empowers women through community leadership, eco-tourism, and environmental education. Miss Earth is known as the planet’s most relevant beauty event, including nearly 100 countries each year attending international festivities, which will take place this year in Vietnam.
Recognized as a charitable organization with 501(C)(3) tax exempt status, the pageant’s nonprofit B4ACUSA Foundation provides scholarships and grants to participants. Each of the state delegates conducts home state environmental projects and brings awareness to local issues and organizations.
State pageants, appointed titles and partnerships are now enrolling for 2024. Miss Earth USA has been ranked in the United States as one of the top pageants for women and girls, as well as award-winning accolades for leadership and production.
