TEEN MISS EARTH USA RECIPIENT OF $5,000 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Organization announces opportunity to double the scholarship prize package and offer state delegate scholarship contests
July 28, 2022, Washington, D.C. - Thanks to contributions through the B4ACUSA Foundation, the official nonprofit organization of Miss Earth USA, it has been announced that a minimum $5,000 academic scholarship will be granted to the next winner of Teen Miss Earth USA.
Additionally, state delegates in the teen category are eligible for a variety of independently funded scholarship and grant competitions, all to be awarded during the next national pageant on January 2-8, 2023 in Orlando, Florida.
The reigning Teen Miss Earth USA is a student at Coastal Carolina University. Presley Patrick, a communication major who just finished her first year at CCU, won the title earlier this year in Orlando.

"Becoming Teen Miss Earth USA has tremendously impacted my life," says Presley. "After receiving the title in January, I knew I could use this title to make an environmental impact around the country."
"Not only have I been able to promote my own platform of Sea the Future, but I have been able to join forces with Coastal Carolina’s Love Blue Inc Chapter. I have had the honor of becoming an ambassador for Beauties For A Cause USA, clean up tools by Garbo Grabber, and the world famous sustainable fashion platform Queenly."

Presley will apply her scholarship award to attend Coastal Carolina University, studying Communications. Her projected graduate date is May 2025. Presley's career goal is to become a News Anchor for a major news outlet or a Sideline Reporter for ESPN.
The Miss Earth organization is focused on environmental issues. Presley created her own organization as part of her Teen Miss Earth USA platform. She promotes stewardship of the ocean through Sea the Future.
As the national pageant winner, Presley receives an academic scholarship in addition to many opportunities to travel, endorse sponsors and special causes and serve as a role model in the industry. Recent travels include Austin, Texas to appear in a Queenly commercial and Seattle, Washington to attend the Global Beauty Awards. Presley will represent Pixton Design Group activewear and Johnathan Kayne fashion designs when walking this September at New York Fashion Week.
The next Teen Miss Earth USA pageant will take place in January 2023 in Orlando. Delegates age 13-19 are selected via state preliminaries or online application and virtual interview process. In addition to the teen program, Miss Earth USA enrolls Junior Ambassadors beginning at age 5.
