Teens Ditch Swimwear for 2022

Miss Earth USA's Teen division partners with Pixton Design activewear, Commits to offering more scholarship opportunities and casting for New York Fashion Week

Washington, D.C. – After a successful runway show in New York City this September, the Miss Earth USA organization announces the official transition from swimwear to activewear for the TEEN division. The organization continues its partnership with Pixton Design Group to create custom activewear options and conduct a casting for 2022 New York Fashion Week.

After five years of sending its teen national delegate to compete on the international stage, including winning results at the Teen Earth pageant in Panama and Face of the World Teen in England, the Miss Earth USA executive team re-considered various options of involvement and prize package for teen candidates.

"After several discussions with candidates and directors, we believe now is the best time to capitalize on our excellent relationship with Pixton Design Group, Pageantry Magazine and others to build opportunities for scholarship and brand representation for teens," said National Director Laura Clark.

"The feedback has been very positive and we are most excited for the opportunity to differentiate what it means to be a teen in pageantry versus a 'Miss'."

Clark indicated there are still swimwear modeling opportunities for Teen Miss Earth USA however, the national competition in January 2022 will launch officially the transition to the fitnesswear competition on both the national and stage pageant stage.

Additionally, Teen Miss Earth USA candidates have the opportunity to be involved in the following national pageant activities and prizes: Teen Miss Earth USA earns $2500 Scholarship, Pixton Design Group brand ambassadorship, Eva Flis title photo shoot, Feature in Pageantry Magazine, Chance to participate in annual mission trip, and more. Open to delegates ages 12-18, the next Teen Miss Earth USA national pageant will take place in January 2022 in Orlando. Delegates are now being crowned via state pageants and online application.
