GET TO KNOW DANIELLE

Challenged with selecting a priority environmental platform, Danielle has been recognized as a Wands for Wildlife Ambassador. As Miss Earth USA, Danielle promotes several ways to engage her personally for education and awareness as well as offer ways for businesses and the general public to support the Wands for Wildlife initiative.

Wands for Wildlife started as a program at the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge center in North Carolina and rapidly grew into an organization with a global reach. The initiative began with a simple social media post asking for used mascara wands to help in wildlife rehabilitation. The first wands were received within days of the post and packages have continued to arrive since. Since 2020, Wands for Wildlife has been featured in Oprah Magazine, Good Housekeeping and People Magazine.

Danielle is partnering with beauty businesses and salons to implement wand donation boxes and develop plans to reduce beauty packaging waste.

Additionally, Danielle visits schools to engage students in the Wild Care program, offering hands-on exploration of tools and techniques.
