we clean trails partnership is announced

The community initiative started by Miss Earth USA Marisa Butler will now be an official partnership of the organization expanding to new chapters across the United States

June 3, 2022, Washington, D.C. The Miss Earth USA organization recently announced a partnership with We Clean Trails through the official nonprofit entity Beauties for a Cause the B4ACUSA Foundation 501(C)3.

Three years ago, future Miss Earth USA 2021 Marisa Butler founded We Clean Trails as her state title Think Global Act Local project. Marisa worked tirelessly in the San Diego region to start We Clean Trails and engage the community in ongoing cleanup efforts.

Due to Marisa's success with this program, Miss Earth USA will sponsor a partnership with We Clean Trails as an integrated community initiative. The goal in this partnership is to keep the entire United States clean and green by expanding We Clean Trails to new chapters in cities coast to coast.

Marisa said, "We Clean Trails is a grassroots community cleanup effort that strives to reduce the amount of litter and debris in our environment through cleanup events and leave no trace education. We Clean Trails is excited to partner with Beauties for a Cause due to their commitment to supporting environmental projects and female activists."

We Clean Trails and the B4ACUSA Foundation would like to thank Garbo Grabber, LLC for their support in providing clean up tools. Each chapter receives a start up kit and training by Marisa including volunteer resources and tips.

Interested We Clean Trails local chapter leaders are invited to participate in an online free information session on June 12. Visit www.b4acusa.org to register.

In addition to this cleanup initiative, the B4ACUSA Foundation recently launched a second initiative fostering strong wellness and mental health for women and girls. The "Still She Rose" initiative conducted a Mental Health Awareness Month social media campaign with over 1,200 posts using hashtag #stillsherose. Future sponsored activities include webinars and resources for women and girls in the pageant community.
